Biography:
Starman is a recurring heroic identity in the DC Universe, most notably associated with Thom Kallor. He first appeared as Star Boy in *Adventure Comics* #282 (March 1961). A member of the Legion of Super-Heroes from the 31st century, Thom possesses the power to temporarily increase or decrease an object's mass.
Due to mental instability resulting from an incident where he accidentally killed his girlfriend, Thom often finds himself in the present day, sometimes experiencing periods of lucidity as Starman.
His appearances outside of the Legion comics often involve interactions with the Justice League or Justice Society of America, creating confusion and requiring him to navigate the challenges of a different era while dealing with his psychological issues. He is sometimes also referred to as Star Boy in these appearances.
